Welcome To Springfield
Massachusetts is a state where a lot has happened. In the late 1600s, our country as we know it began its inception in this state. Today, you will find some of the country’s best schools, hospitals, and natural beauties sprinkled across the east coast state. Massachusetts is also no stranger to good foods, and throughout the course of history, it has been, and still is, home to some of the nation’s very best eateries. You can find all types of cuisine in this state, such as authentic Chinese food, fresh seafood on the water, and one of our favorites, steak houses. One of our all-time favorite steakhouses we recommend you visit is the 350 Grill Steakhouse in Springfield.
350 Grill Steakhouse is located at 350 Worthington Street in Springfield, Massachusetts. This steakhouse serves delicious handcrafted steak that has been both rubbed and smoked. If steak isn’t what you’re craving, then fret not, as you will find dishes that will do the trick, such as a variety of homemade mac and cheese plates or even a plate of seared blackened ahi tuna. This eatery features all of this and more while providing beautiful decor composed of a timeless brick interior, which gives this restaurant a nice city vibe.
Appetizers
Both lunch and dinner are served at 350 Grill, and both offer fantastic menus to order food from. Focusing primarily on the dinner menu, there is no shortage of options. Start your dining experience with one of the ‘small plates’ on offer, such as half-shell oysters served with an apple cider mignonette and cocktail sauce, or the aforementioned seared blackened ahi tuna that is served alongside wasabi, pickled ginger, and seaweed salad with a teriyaki drizzle to top it all off. The list of appetizers wouldn’t be complete without the 350 chicken wings, which come with eight marinated and roasted wings that we strongly recommend. Fan favorites of these appetizers include the house-made risotto balls, the 350 veal meatballs, and the 350 pork shanks. The 350 pork shanks come with two crispy pork shanks that the chef tosses in spicy plum sauce and is then served over a bed of Thai noodles. If you (understandably) think it all sounds delicious and can’t decide on just one option, then you can opt for the satisfying 350 share plate sampler, which you can also share with your party. This sampler includes pork shanks, meatballs, risotto balls, mozzarella pillows, and garlic bread, meaning this sampler will fill up your group and then some.
Beef Dishes
The entrées at 350 Grill are some of the best in the area and offer a nice variety aside from their delectable cuts of steak. Speaking of steaks, these cuts of meat are no joke and are an excellent choice when eating out. Your choices of cuts include a 16oz Boneless Ribeye and a 16oz New York Sirloin strip, but we must mention the Filet Mignon, which you can order in either 6oz or 8oz, and lastly a juicy 20oz Bone-in Cowboy Ribeye. All of your choices of steak offer extra toppings in addition to the two sides it comes with. Enjoy the Sherry Garlic Shrimp, Pan-Seared Scallops, or Oscar Style, which tops your steak with crab, asparagus, and a béarnaise sauce.
A personal favorite of ours is the Beef Medallions Marsala, which mixes beef filet medallions with a mushroom marsala wine reduction and is served alongside delicious homemade mashed potatoes. There is clearly no shortage of options when it comes to beef-based dishes, which is hardly a surprise, as it’s what a steakhouse does best.
Chicken, Seafood, & More
Of course, don’t let this deter you in the event you aren’t feeling like eating steak for dinner, as there remains a solid amount of choices for dishes. These dishes include chicken, pork, and seafood. If you’re interested in a tasty poultry dish, we must recommend you try the Chicken Milanese. It consists of a breaded and pounded chicken breast that the chef then pan-fries and is served on top of an arugula salad and is topped with freshly shaved parmesan cheese.
Fans of seafood rejoice as the 350 Grill has a tasty selection of dishes to choose from, all of which are both fresh and delicious. Choose from a nicely sized cut of salmon or swordfish prepared either blackened or grilled and served alongside your choice of two sides. The sides you can select from include a baked potato, mac and cheese, grilled asparagus, homemade butter whipped mashed potatoes, parmesan rosemary roasted potatoes, rice pilaf, sautéed spinach, parmesan risotto, truffle parmesan fries, and lastly the vegetable of the day which rotates periodically.
Another dish we really enjoy is the pan-seared scallops, which are served over a flavorful mushroom and spinach risotto. If you want both seafood and beef, then you’ll certainly enjoy the surf and turf tower that stacks filet medallions, a three-cheese risotto cake, shrimp, and scallops with a Boursin cream sauce on top. They even offer a bone-in pork chop, marinated in a bourbon cider glaze, and served alongside the previously mentioned homemade mashed potatoes that are well-loved.
Burgers & Mac
350 Grill serves two types of burgers, the first one being the 350 signature burger, which consists of an 8oz patty and is topped with both caramelized onions and roasted garlic aioli and served on a brioche bun. If you’d rather a veggie burger, they make one as well, served on a vegan brioche roll, and served alongside some delectable sweet potato fries.
A fan favorite from the 350 Grill is the homemade mac and cheese dishes that come in a few different varieties. The signature 350 Mac and Cheese is made up of a four-cheese blend and topped with a baked cracker topping. You can also order the 350 Mac and Cheese with buffalo chicken for a little extra. A couple of the specialty variants includes the truffle lobster mac and cheese with truffle oil and our personal favorite, the steak mac and cheese that is mixed with both steak tips and gouda cheese.
